4/ LLMs are being used extensively in paper writing here but somehow that didn't translate to poster design. Most of them just weren't that aesthetically pleasing or well formatted although the content was very interesting

1/ Noticed a lot of publications by independent researchers and hobbyists doing research on the side. Reminds me of a blog post by Sean Goedecke on being in the "gentleman scientist" era of AI research
