Kane: "Lucho was in his first year last year. And sometimes, as an attacking player, it takes you maybe a year or two to get used to someone or the way they play. But Lucho just comes straight in and had an instant connection, not just with me, but I think with the players around him, with his fullbacks, and with Michael on the other side. And the thing I love about Lucho is the way he gets into the box. He scores what I like to call boring goals. Obviously, wingers are known for being dribblers, being pretty, and taking on players, but you also have to score your goals at the back post and from rebounds and all that. And Lucho does that amazingly well.
Michael, on the other side, is just a beautiful player. I think you're seeing more and more how good he is with the ball, but what I love about him most is probably his football IQ, his brain, and the way he sees the game. It's very similar to how I see the game, and his passing is at the highest level. He's obviously good at dribbling, and also at finishing. And Michael is someone who just keeps working to improve and get better.
And you add that to the players we have around us, with Jamal, who is hopefully getting back to full fitness. You also have the new guy now, Isi [Saibari], and you've got Josh [Kimmich] behind us. The team has just got a really good balance on top of the coach obviously bringing out the best in us. But it's just a joy to play with these types of attackers for sure." [@footballontnt]
