@thedarkmattterr @Chris_SWFL @stetsondoggett @jon_prosser Yeah, but I didn’t choose them. That was the third party partner who received my phone at the time. All I’m saying is that it’s a possibility that these things happen when you mail off your device to some warehouse.

It happened to me once by a company called Asurion, and they didn’t even give me the option to decline their lower offer and send my phone back to me. since then I always sell my phones myself.

@thedarkmattterr @stetsondoggett @jon_prosser It’s not actually apple who’s buying your phone when you trade it in, but a third party partner. If you google it you will see lots of reports of this happening to people.

@stetsondoggett @jon_prosser They’re telling you $580 now, but after they receive it they’re gonna make up some stuff like, “the screen had white spots and the os was corrupted” new valuation :$150. You’re better off selling it yourself than trading because of this possibility.

@RetroRGB Oh ok. The one I saw for 99 dollars said it was 32GB 1080p with the A8 chip. Must have been looking at the wrong thing.
