@dannyclayton552 Yeah thats annoying. I remember the email saying to switch your order to fully assembled to get it sooner, too. I almost was about to do that but then decided against spending the extra $500. But now after the review I’ve seen I’m not sure if I even want to buy it still…
@thedarkmattterr @Chris_SWFL@stetsondoggett@jon_prosser Yeah, but I didn’t choose them. That was the third party partner who received my phone at the time. All I’m saying is that it’s a possibility that these things happen when you mail off your device to some warehouse.
@Chris_SWFL @thedarkmattterr @stetsondoggett@jon_prosser That’s great that you haven’t had a problem, but unfortunately lots of people have. It happened to me once by a company called Asurion, and they didn’t even give me the option to decline their lower offer and send my phone back to me. since then I always sell my phones myself.
@thedarkmattterr @stetsondoggett@jon_prosser It’s not actually apple who’s buying your phone when you trade it in, but a third party partner. If you google it you will see lots of reports of this happening to people.
@stetsondoggett@jon_prosser They’re telling you $580 now, but after they receive it they’re gonna make up some stuff like, “the screen had white spots and the os was corrupted” new valuation :$150. You’re better off selling it yourself than trading because of this possibility.
@Aetherbyte @JohnRDavies4 @Voultar I remember talking to people before either console came out and they were saying they were gonna hold out for the PlayStation 2 specifically for the DVD capability. I didn’t care and I remember picking up my DC after school on 9/9/99 lol
@RetroRGB This is the one I saw for $119 and the description says 4K with the A12 Bionic chip. So I thought maybe they were different models. Not sure 2021 Apple TV 4K (32GB) https://t.co/UaaYpBbzJM
