If you are aware of my words yesterday about my brother in Islam, Ali Davis, may Allah bless him, do not interpret them as a change in my decade-long position.
Similarly, to this day, I do not know Ali’s position to have changed regarding my views and my stances.
However, Ali Davis and Abu Saajid are my brothers in Islam; I want good for them; I ask Allah to protect them from evil, and I ask Allah to forgive us and pardon us for our shortcomings.
Yesterday, concerns were brought to me about the recirculation of previous articles.
So, seeking to halt chaos provokers from running wilder, and out of care for the capacity of everyday Muslims, I wrote a few words.
To reiterate, I advise myself and all of us to stay busy with righteous deeds, and to be careful when interacting with controversy and spreading it.
Focus on the journey to Allah and Hereafter.
It reached me that a decade-old article of mine regarding my brother in Islam, Ali Davis, is being recirculated.
I advise those who re-circulated these words to busy themselves with seeking knowledge, the worship of Allah, tending to their families, and the performance of good deeds.
Ali and I exchanged views based on what we believe to be correct in calling to Allah (dawah), according to the Quran and Sunnah.
May Allah forgive us both and pardon us both for our shortcomings.
As for the individuals recirculating these affairs, their actions of rekindling conflict —during these times— are nothing but a cause of grief for the Muslims and a sign that they are addicted to controversy (fitnah).
May Allah guide us and them, and may He, the All-Able, rectify and grant solace to the condition of the Muslims.
Calling someone “Wahhabi” as an attack only reflects your ignorance. Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab, may Allah have mercy on him, did not bring anything outside of the Quran and Sunnah, so if you claim otherwise, bring clear proof. Also remember that one of Allah’s attributes is Al-Wahhab, so be mindful of your words, as you might be falling into something a lot more serious and dangerous by mocking Allah’s names and attributes.

Is it me or is John Harbaugh tryna sabotage the draft for the Ravens? Every weakness we have he picks that position ahead of us. If I wasn’t crazy I’d think he knows our draft board…👀
Some people are returning important affairs to actual scholars, really.
Some people are returning their affairs to the court of public opinion & pleading their case on social media with anonymous accounts & trolls.

He who digs a pit for his brother, falls into it himself.
من حفر حفرة لأخيه وقع فيها
وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إلَّا بأهله
The evil plot encompasses only him who contrived it.
Be sincere to Allah, and be honest with your brothers and sisters.
So many examples…
