@JioCare Akshay, Let's say my porting process was suspended due to the delivery agent's fault, he did an IVR call from my own number, which was to be ported. Now I have already paid ₹349 recharge while raising a porting request from myjio app. Will i be refunded that amount?

@reliancejio I initiated the porting through the jio app. Got payment confirmation. Went to the jio office and they gave me a new sim and activated it. It's been 5 days, my old sim hasn't been deactivated. And the order on jio app is stuck at delivery. Order number - NO000151Z0YV

An ever-increasing cross-section of India is rapidly coming online, not just geographically but across various demographical strata. Currently over 900 Mil Indians have access to the magic digital ether at their fingertips with one of the lowest costs in the world at an average of $0.17 per GB. With timely public policy interventions, indigenous technological advancement, and infrastructural funding, this number is expected to rise to around 1.3 Bil by 2030 and 1.5 Bil by 2040.

This demographic is curious, quick to absorb and adopt internet slang, and equally eager to participate in online discourse. And as @balajis pointed out, “these Indians don’t type with an accent”. It won’t be categorically incorrect to say that by 2030, a significant proportion of online discourse/ internet slang will be steered by this demographic. Implicitly, the noticeable sharp rise in the “reaction videos” on Youtube worldwide on Indian cultural content is a good proxy for what it means for free market capitalism. @palkisu's impeccable storytelling and EAM @DrSJaishankar's unapologetic posture in the geopolitical theater are just a few of many other manifest examples.

After a very long time, gets to recite her story in her own voice. But a little care and ingenuity can go a long way.

What role does this platforming play in ameliorating the post-colonial mindset that continues to plague the young nation’s psyche? What role does India’s voice play in an increasingly fractured world? 

A land that has valued pure awareness, truth-seeking, and profoundly understood that each one is the rest of humankind over bigotry, intolerance, and coercion since time immemorial has so much to offer to the world after all.
