Why #PayRaiseForDoctors?
Just look at one hospital: Lady Reading Hospital.
A House Officer earns 64k.
A TMO earns 77k.
A Medical Officer earns 102k.
In the same hospital, a Technician earns 80k, a Class 4 employee around 70k, and a Nurse earns 110k.
This is not against any worker. Every hospital worker deserves respect and fair pay.
But the story is simple:
The doctor who studies for years, handles emergencies, signs prescriptions, takes clinical risk, faces attendants, works night duties, and carries life-and-death responsibility is being paid like his responsibility doesn’t matter.
One hospital is enough to expose the whole problem.
This is not a luxury demand.
This is a fairness demand.
This is a patient-safety demand.

A young doctor in Pakistan earns ~Rs 65–70k/month while working 80–100 hours/week.
Same role abroad pays 7x–20x more with better conditions and growth.
This is not disloyalty it’s a rational decision.
If retention matters, pay must reflect reality.
#PayRaiseForDoctors
Imagine after 17 years of education and 1 year of house job, you finally get an FCPS seat at age 26–27 and earn only 100k–110k for the next 3–5 years!
Most Pakistani doctors belong to middle-class families, with families depending on them after graduation.
30-hour duties, hectic routines, harsh timings ,and in the end, just 100k–110k!
Doctors’ salaries must be raised.
This issue must be addressed at the highest level!

What are these judges doing for the nation which doctors aren’t?
House rent allowance increased suddenly from 65k to 350k for Supreme Court judges and this is just one allowance besides their salary!
On the other hand, doctors’ salaries have remained the same for the last 5 years despite the dollar rising by 100% and petrol prices by 270%.
This exploitation needs to end, otherwise no doctor would want to serve the nation!

#PayRaiseForDoctors
After 7–8 years of MBBS and house job,a doctors in Pakistan still earning only Rs. 60–65k.
Where has medicine in Pakistan headed? Who is responsible for this crisis? Only policymakers or the medical community too?
So many private medical colleges opened despite limited jobs and training seats. Was long-term planning ever done?
Behind that white coat is a human being who is overworked, underpaid, and mentally exhausted. They give everything to their patients, but the system gives them nothing in return.
Respect their dedication. Raise their pay. 🇵🇰

📢 YDA Pakistan Official
Services
Doctors from House Officers to Professors are united in a single demand: a fair and dignified pay raise.
A single month’s salary abroad equals what we earn in an entire year in Pakistan.
Justice delayed is justice denied.
#PayRaiseForDoctors
House officers in Punjab Pakistan are highly underpaid for the workloads they going through. A stipend of 40,000 to 70,000 is highly unacceptable for 100+ hours duty in a week.
#raiseHOstipend#fairpayfordoctors
HOs deserve much more than what they earn at the moment. Raise your voice for the people (who were thought, have no voice so let them work 30-36 hours and pay them the amount hardly covering their basic expenses) so earn what they deserve
#RaiseHOStipend
HO Salaries/month
Pakistan: ~$120–200
India: ~$300–800
Bangladesh ~$200–400
UK ~$2,500–3,20
Yet in Pakistan, doctors work 30+ hour shifts—forced to live hand-to-mouth. This isn’t training. It’s exploitation.
Underpaid, Overworked, Unheard.
#RaiseHOStipend#FairPayForDoctors
We get abused, zero security, zero rights, no basic rights, pay scales frozen for years and years, suffering keeps increasing.
This government being a people friendly govt have to recognize our demands. It's about time. #RaiseHOStipend#FairPayForDoctors#PunjabDoctors
