"The 1-5 ain't the problem. The mindset is the problem."
After the bye week, the Ravens invited renowned motivational speaker Eric Thomas to meet with the team. Story on what he had to say: https://t.co/M5V3Tar22w
Once the identity of a team has been identified.
Leaders must build the identity into everything that they do.
Identity is simply words on paper until it is embedded and lived on a daily basis.
From there, it is everyone's responsibility to move it forward and promote it.

Feedback doesn't always have to be negative.
PJ Fleck (@Coach_Fleck) said, "Bad teams, no one leads. Average teams, coaches lead. But elite teams, players lead."
The best teams are player-led.
•They hold everyone accountable.
•They lead by example.
•They own the process.
The standard can't live with just the coaches.

Self-awareness is undeniably one of the most important, if not the most, mental skills that leaders can have.
The ability to recognize stress and release it in a productive way that moves one towards who they want to become is only possible with self-awareness.
Training the mind involves having a strong team culture centered around a shared DNA.
In order to have this shared vision for who you are, athletes & coaches must be able to switch their attention when distracted and train themselves to sustain that attention.
Running a mental skills training program for a high school strength and conditioning group.
This week's workout highlights shifting attention.
Distractions should be expected.
What matters is how you respond.
That response can and should be trained consistently.
