I'm not sure that Christians who are going through difficulties need to be reminded of God’s sovereignty as much as they need to be reminded of His sympathy. Hebrews 4:15. He knows what it is like.

I just got done reading Acts and it struck me how long Paul stayed in prison as he waited to go to Rome. I’ve been waiting on some things in ministry for a long time and found his waiting encouraging.
