@SuperTexans@Alkibiades_ What’s an old money “vibe” if not the places people live, vacation, spend their time in, dress, etc etc?
The post is about vibes haha.
Just my observations. I work in an industry full of a mixture of super wealthy people, both old and new money.
@Cardgames@north0fnorth@A5T3R0lD COMED is one of the most chronically over-supplied regions in the Eastern Interconnect. Exports all the time to the rest of PJM/MISO
@vanillaopinions Disagree. It’s mostly super boring young families or couples that prefer a quieter atmosphere. Logan and wicker have a lot more going on past 8pm.
@WatchPGHSports@RyanDeto Mad Mex is really quite obviously much, much worse. The guys that run the place and the chef are legit. It’s just my opinion, but I think it carries some weight given I’m from Texas and have tried countless Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants 🙂 also, I eat home-cooked Mexican food.
@gatekeepchicago Chicago’s fiscal situation is dire, to say the least. I think y’all may need *more* working professionals paying taxes rather than *fewer*.
@PAstynome I’m just gonna tell my kid to get some motion and they’ll figure it out. Who cares if they’re at a CUNY, if they’ve got that dog in em they’ll win in the end.
@alreadydawn This guy needs to chill. Who cares what school you went to if it didn’t amount to anything? So many happy, successful people I’ve met are public state school grads. Matter of fact, the most successful people I know went to “non-target” public schools 🤷🏽
@Amonahan Energy trading is not quite as bad as this (I’ve been on power, gas, and crude/products floors). At least 70/30 men vs. women, sometimes even closer to 50/50. Relatively diverse subset of the trading industry
