It has been a fantastic season for Sam, who was also named in the first team squad for the trip to Connah's Quay Nomads in January.

A true captainโs performance yesterday from Sam Jacobsen providing quality and energy in midfield, capped off with another brilliant goal early in the second half. Well played Sam.

We have our final Ardal Southern Round 2 Cup tie to play this weekend, when Cardiff Corinthians host Blaenavon Blues at the Riverside Ground on Saturday, kick off 1.30pm.
Corries are currently in 12th place in the South West and the Blues 7th in the South East. The home side won their last game 2-1 against South Gower last weekend, Alfie Kennedy opening the scoring after 40 minutes from a Joseph Dali-Kemmery assist. It was 2-0 on 65 minutes, Captain Sam Jacobsen scoring after more good work from Dali-Kemmery. However on 73 minutes South Gower were given some hope of a comeback when Kennedy saw red and the 10 men Corries then conceded on 83 minutes. However they hung on to their one goal lead in the closing minutes of the match to clinch a welcome 3 points.
Meanwhile Blaenavon Blues will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 3-0 defeat at Caldicot Town last weekend. The week before had seen them exit the JD Welsh Cup in heartbreaking fashion on penalties 5-3, after a 2-2 draw with Cymru South side Newport City after 90 minutes. The winners of this game will earn a quarter-final tie at home to Caerphilly Athletic, to be played on the 24th January.
Despite some speculation, $RLUSD isnโt launching today. Weโre in lockstep with the NYDFS on final approval and will share updates as soon as possible.
We are fully committed to launching under the supervision of NYDFS and upholding the highest regulatory standards. Stay tuned for updates!
