Someone earning 60 LPA got laid off during oracle layoffs
Last year, he paid ₹15 lakh in taxes.
And paid over 1 crore in taxes in last 7 years.
- Now, he has no salary.
- He is going to lose his home as he can’t pay EMI
- His kids are going to kicked out of school
- He won’t have health insurance
When someone start earning, government try to extract every penny they can in the name of
- Stamp duty for home
- GST in everything including schools fee and books
- They even charge GST on health insurance, air purifier, water filter and 20 things as government failed to provide basic needs.
When that same person loses his job,
Government never show up to help.
If taxpayers contribute in good times,
shouldn’t government provide some protection in bad times too?
No matter which political parties you support, result is same.
I think it’s time we push our government to provision a separate policy for laid off employees.
It’s time for government to show some support for its tax payers.
@shivi1026 Something they haven't seen before, maybe something that revolves around something you tryna solve even if in a toned down way. Involve architectural thinking and design components. Give the interviewer chances to ask deeper questions from your projects. Know every bit of ur proj
@Indian_Analyzer Why not deploy laser integrated systems on those areas powered by solar, integrated to LEO satellites ,thermal imaging and motion sensors? Anytime a human figure comes close to crossing the border within a 50m dist, burn the clothes of the human and his skin by the laser beam
do you understand what just happened to one of the most used npm packages on the internet?
→ axios gets downloaded over 100 million times a week and today it got compromised
→ an attacker hijacked the npm credentials of a lead axios maintainer… changed the account email to an anonymous ProtonMail address… and manually published two poisoned versions
→ [email protected] and [email protected]… neither version contains a single line of malicious code inside axios itself. instead they inject a fake dependency called plain-crypto-js that drops a remote access trojan on your machine
→ the fake dependency was staged 18 hours in advance… three separate payloads were pre-built for macOS, Windows, and Linux… both release branches were hit within 39 minutes. every trace was designed to self-destruct after execution too
→ there’s no tag in the axios GitHub repo for 1.14.1. it was published outside the normal release process entirely... bypassed CI/CD completely
→ StepSecurity called it one of the most operationally sophisticated supply chain attacks ever against a top 10 npm package
→ a routine npm install silently opens a backdoor… no warning… no suspicious code visible in axios itself
this is the wake up call all vibe coding bros need to hear right now:
→ if you installed either version… assume your system is compromised
→ pin to [email protected] or [email protected]
→ rotate all secrets, API keys, SSH keys, and credentials on affected machines
→ check network logs for C2 connections
→ add –ignore-scripts to CI npm installs going forward
100 million weekly downloads and one compromised maintainer account…
that’s all it took to wreak absolute havoc
and I imagine we see a whole lot more of these… crazy times ahead for cybersecurity and vibe coding
be safe out there y’all
Tech Job Market Trends in 2026 (Indian Reality)
The market has changed a lot in the last 12–18 months.
Look what’s actually happening right now:
AI roles are getting inflated offers (50–80+ LPA for good profiles), but many are “AI wrapper” jobs that may not last long.
Core backend/system design/infra roles are stable but highly competitive. Good engineers are still getting 35–55 LPA, but companies are being very picky.
Referrals have become even more powerful. Many startups are filling 40–60% roles through internal references.
Bangalore still pays the highest, but Hyderabad is giving better savings + WLB for the same role.
Remote roles from Indian companies have reduced sharply.
Most are now hybrid or office-first.
Freshers are struggling the most -> mass hiring is down, and companies prefer 1–3 YOE candidates with proven projects.
Reply with your honest experience:
- Which city/role are you targeting?
- Did you face ghosting or referral rejection recently?
- What’s one trend you’re seeing in 2026?
Most useful replies will be pinned + I’ll share more insights in follow-up.

@shregupta89 Cannt be judged that easily, lemme break it down with an example. My friend is a candidate master in cf, but he never used git and has never touched dev. He secured an intern offer in big tech
(i have similar stories in my office too)
Ppl think shutting down hotels is a simple solution. But what about PG and hostel residents who depend on them for food? What about the servers, cleaners, and workers who survive on daily wages? A whole chain of ppl will suffer. The impact is much bigger than ppl think.
there are reports of gas shortage and fuel supply concerns across the country
all we hear from government is some random statements based on some "sources"

🚨 USS GERALD FORD “GOES DARK”: One of America’s most powerful warships disappears from public tracking
The USS Gerald R. Ford — the most advanced aircraft carrier on Earth — is no longer visible on open-source tracking systems.
When carriers go silent, it usually means one thing:
Operational mode.
A nuclear-powered supercarrier does not need to broadcast its position. It moves when and where it chooses — with overwhelming force behind it.
If the Ford strike group is repositioning for combat operations, the strategic message is unmistakable.
The world’s most powerful navy is preparing.
Watch closely.
