Woop! We did it! Go team!

[The Chazuka Project @chazukaproject]

We’ve smashed our £600 target! Thanks to your generosity, we’ve raised enough money to build a new floor for the Chazuka School.

We’ve now upped our target to £700 so we can also buy some new resources for the school.

Please continue to support here 🙏

Less than £200 to go! If you can... please donate! X

[The Chazuka Project @chazukaproject]

Teleza would like a new floor for the Chazuka School before the dry season comes in May, when it will become much more dusty.

Can you help give a child a safer and cleaner space to learn this Christmas?

@GEriccson @emmakennytv Meanwhile people are dying every day from lockdown. 200,000 projected deaths in the government’s own report. Children are missing out on critical education & social development. Millions of families around the world are being flung into abject poverty. Perspective needed.

@jane14roberts @RosebudLam @emmakennytv To stop bodily fluids e.g blood from the open surgery from getting into the surgeon’s mouth. Not to prevent transmission of respiratory diseases. Also used in a highly sterile environment and hygenically disposed of after use.

@SophiaMcDun @chazukaproject We’re so grateful - you absolute legend 🥳

@P_MLucie @MichaelYeadon3 Would you be happy to share your letter to MP? I’m looking for a template to send to mine - or @MichaelYeadon3 do you have a template we can send?

[Sara Yasmin Ahmed @_sarayasmin]

@emmakennytv Do we have a letter to MP template we can all send? If not @emmakennytv I’m sure your team could pull one together for us?

Happy #WorldKindnessDay ❤️

When visiting Chazuka last year, our co-founders saw one of the children sharing her mendasi (a small Chazuka cake) with her friends and the village dog. She saw it as an opportunity to make everyone happy, so she did.

The last school committee meeting of the year was held recently! At these meetings everyone has a frozy and a packet of biscuits. This is the tradition - the Malawian version of tea and biscuits! School dog Lucy was also there chairing the meeting 🐕 #malawi #education #school

[The Chazuka Project @chazukaproject]

Our teachers, Grace and Ashia, have been home schooling while The Chazuka School is closed. They have been focusing on Maths and English and studying in small groups where the children live. Working hard to create a sense of normality at this strange time! #malawi #teachers
