The conjunction of Venus and Jupiter shortly after sunset last night. They appeared only about 1.5 degrees apart in the sky. (About 3 full moon diameters. ) Pics taken in central MD.

Great night for looking up at the night sky. Clear skies, cold temps, and a dim waxing crescent moon that will be setting shortly after midnight. Go out and see what you can spot, I labeled a few things that are easy to spot in this picture I took.
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket as seen from central Maryland as it heads up the east coast this morning. @SpaceX launched 29 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 5:33am this morning. Made a cool jellyfish effect as the sun illuminated it.
