@robbiehendricks Story suspect. 48k burned out property, 220k in repairs to double value to appraise at 600k? Land value would have been much higher than 48k building value alone. Would’ve been bid up by others, speculators, realtors, etc. Not saying he’s lying, but math and logic ain’t mathing
@RedpillDrifter This is actually an efficient way to run fast in small bursts. No addition energy wasted. Something you learn in samurai and ninja 🥷 basic training.
@realEstateTrent Many years ago, a guy showed up to a sales meeting in regular pants, plain sweater, tennis shoes, may have had sweaty arm pits and unkempt haircut. And was late due to traffic from airport. But made the deal anyway. Your guy with keen eye probably wouldn’t be impressed
@BasedMikeLee With the number of children JDL fathered with his 50+ known wives, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to learn he’s my great great great father too. 🤷🏻
@brettamtpa@MorganAutoGroup They all seem to have piggy backed off one another. Most scripts are likely from the same team from late 70s with added patches as the subscription grew in 80s and 90s. I’m shocked, big auto groups have not implemented a complete rewrite to tailor to their own scope and pace.
@brettamtpa@MorganAutoGroup Impressive to see ~50+ year old Unix based soft running on tapes via mainframes is still in widespread use, even by large dealer groups. Hopefully CRM vendors solved real time integration.
@SpeedSportLife Yup. Very few dealers have competent ‘sales’ teams. Reasons are many, but a lot of ‘managers’ wouldn’t know what competence looks like due to not being competent themselves. Their only ‘competence’ stems from being gatekeepers for in demand product. Think themselves ‘sales pros’
