@aravind I get that but @aravind the current rules and laws being made againt gc. GC not getting any support and only appeasement to certain group. Fake cases , judiciary corruption etc etc etc
What would you do if you see people getting fake cases against them and rallies for more reserv

This IIT Bombay incident has me totally black pilled. My son is 5. He has time on his side and I will make sure he has all sorts of options at 18. Because this genie that has been unleashed is going to be a multi generational disaster for GCs. Economic prosperity is moot if a false complaint can land you in jail.

I am pro-reservation. I have seen caste based discrimination myself. But law cannot presume guilty unless proven innocent. GCs are about to go through a long period of suffering due to legislated negative externalities. I don't foresee any change at least in my life time. And weaponisation of law has just begun.

Let the students who didn't have the resources to study be the beneficiaries of affirmative action.

Remove benefits purely based on caste basis.

A SC/ST student whose parents are IAS officers, and who has the money to study in Kota doesn't need reservation.

A GC student whose father works as a sanitation worker, and can't afford any coaching, needs it.

I think it was a bad decision to come back to India. It's time to go back to the US.

There is nothing left in India for the GCs, especially males.

I don't want my 5 year old son to face the harsh realities of the reservation, acts and laws, when he grows up.

If one day, he asks me, why can't he get into the top IIT, but his SC/ST friend can, even with half his marks, and the same economic status, I will have no answer. I guess I will just have to say, it's because we don't care about merit, but representation.
