What I thought becoming a founder is:
- telling people I am one
- setting up company website
- incorporating the company
- building a product
- talking to customers
What it turned out to be: a lot like training to be a Jedi. #FridayMusings#FounderLife
@zarazhangrui Easy onboarding was always a mistake, I’m glad it’s getting the attention it deserves. If you understand your user only 10%, you will only be able to teach them how to use 10% of your product.
Entrepreneurship is one of the greatest vehicles of personal development because it forces you to confront every weakness you’ve been avoiding.
The market won’t let you hide from yourself. 10 out of 10 times, the person limiting the business is you.
@dibbaa_code It needs carbs, for sure! But not processed sugar in the way we consume. I’ve been off sugar for years now and I feel sluggish every time I have any. You should check out @glucosegoddesss and her work on this.
Only loop 🔄 for the last 10 weeks for 2025:
Interview users -> build -> convince users to try / pay -> gather feedback -> iterate.
Launch coming in 2026. Stay tuned! 👀
The biggest skill of an early stage founder is consistently squashing your inner critic (sometimes external ones too).
And then following this golden nugget - just do it! 💪
The transition from startup operator -> founder means becoming entirely comfortable with ‘I don’t know’ as your default response to everything.
Follow it up with ‘I’ll figure it out anyway’ and you’re on your way.
Just wrapped up a week of intense learning and clarity from Shreyas Doshi's course on Product Sense. Absolutely loved the pedagogy and found it extremely relevant and timely as an early stage founder!
Highly recommend: https://t.co/KysOXK9Laf
