So wonderful to see Republic Day celebrations in gram panchayats and rural public libraries across Karnataka. These two gram panchayats in Koppal provided roti & vermicelli making machines to self help groups of women with disabilities to help them earn a livelihood. #community

@RailwaySeva @GMSRailway @RailMinIndia I have booked ticket under this PNR:8242711022,Trn no: 11301 unfortunately I missed the train at the boarding point and boated at Kalburgi station but TTE allocated my seat to the RAC person.Coz of this I have travelled 4hours by standing.

After 12am I have paid an additional 300rs to get another seat . It's very sad. Moreover, those two stop rules I am not aware of ,however at least I could have postponed my journey if I had received the message. Please take action against TTE.

@RailwaySeva @GMSRailway Train no 16216Chamundi Expresss now a days making delay in reaching Mysore on time. More than 25 mins waiting stoppage is really wasting thousands of commuters time. Need to improve system.

ಬೀದರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ಹುಮನಾಬಾದ್ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಮಾಣಿಕ ನಗರ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಚೆಸ್‌ ಥೀಮ್‌ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಸ್‌ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಚೆಸ್‌ ಆಟಗಾರರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲು ಈ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Shri Sushil Kumar Lohani, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, visited the Abdul Nazir Sab State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (#SIRD), #Mysuru, Karnataka, to review various initiatives being implemented under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (#RGSA) and other key programmes of the Ministry #MoPR.

During the visit, he held detailed discussions on innovative efforts undertaken for enhancing Own Sources of Revenue (#OSR) mobilisation, improving service delivery by Panchayats, and promoting the effective functioning of Gram Panchayat Libraries – all of which directly contribute to empowering grassroots governance and enhancing Ease of Living in rural areas.

He also reviewed the roll-out of Sashakt Panchayat-Netri Abhiyan, a pioneering initiative dedicated to building the leadership capacities of Women Elected Representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions, thereby strengthening inclusive and participatory local self-governance.

Further, Shri Lohani addressed a group of trainees preparing to facilitate ISO certification of Gram Panchayats, aimed at institutionalizing quality and transparency in local administration. He also visited the #Satcom Studio at SIRD, designed to foster virtual engagement and real-time interaction with field functionaries, enhancing the reach and impact of capacity building efforts across the State.
