@Fair_and_Biased Do we really expect the most Holy man in the world to be Pro Violence ? Of course heโs going to want peace for the Middle East. Expecting the Pope to be pro war is a wild take.
Small lips, undefined eyebrows, no exaggerated cheekbones, a smile without veneers or teeth that look like they've been washed with dish soap, no false eyelashes, natural hair color. Let's go back to basics.
@fr_james1@CatholicArena I disagree. As someone who very much disliked Pope Francis I think Pope Leo has done a good job of not dancing around left leaning liberal opinions and standard firm on things like abortion, woman in clergy, same sex marriage etc.
Pope Leo has consistently promoted Catholic moral theology. He has condemned abortion, affirmed marriage is only between a man and a woman, has rejected the notion of women ever serving in the clergy, and has openly said he does not believe in open borders and that nations have the right to control who comes into their countries. The notion that he's "woke" or a liberal is ridiculous. He is a thousand times more socially conservative than Donald Trump. But on top of that, he isnt a politician. The Pope has dedicated his entire life to Jesus Christ and the Church. He dedicated his life to missionary work, and is devoted to the Mass and the Eucharist. He has emphasized many times his priority is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pope Leo is a great man and I admire him deeply.
@TrevorSheatz I was a protestant who became Catholic because of the Scriptures and Christian writings.
Jesus didn't hand out Bibles for people to self interpret and make up thousands of differing denominations.
Jesus created the Catholic Church which canonized the Bible.
