The promise of colonialism has always been the same: surrender your dignity, abandon your dead, betray your people, and in return we’ll let you participate in your own subjugation. What an offer.
France assassinated more than 21 African Presidents, directly or indirectly involved in more than 60% of the Coups in Africa
Ruto has committed Treason against Africa
One of the most horrific scenes in human history has been leaked.
When Israel forced thousands in Gaza to run after a loaf of bread under gunfire.
A moment the world should never forget.
When the imperialists looked for a military to use in Haiti, they came to Ruto and he gave them one. When the United States came for Kenya’s health data, Ruto didn’t hesitate: he signed and agreed. When the British army molested, killed, and maltreated Kenyan women while destroying several hectares of land during training, Ruto did nothing.
When the French wanted a foothold in Kenya through a five-year renewable partnership covering maritime security and intelligence sharing, he gave them the go-ahead and immunity from Kenyan law, all under the pretense of military cooperation.
Ruto is a Western puppet who is not after the interests of the people but those of his masters and his own selfish interests. With time, many Kenyans will realize this.
“The President is not above the Constitution. His anger does not override our rights. His frustrations do not suspend due process. His political discomfort does not justify state-sponsored violence.” 💉💉💉💉
“Mr President, you are not a victim. You are not a misunderstood leader who got caught up with the wrong crowd. You are not a well-intentioned reformer who somehow lost his way in the bureaucracy.
This government, its failures and approval ratings are all a reflection of you.”👏🏾
William Ruto isn't disliked, dislike is something you have for certain foods or TV shows, things you can avoid. Ruto is detested, like an infestation of dangerous pests, a contagion, a serial killer. The man is destroying millions of lives, dislike is too mild.
#RutoMustGo
Let me tell you a story, Hanan.
I’m Vietnamese.
In 1954, the Western powers, fresh from centuries of colonial conquest, decided Vietnam should be cut in half.
Not because the Vietnamese asked for it.
Not because it was just.
But because it served imperial interests.
The North would go to us, the ones who had bled to defeat the French.
The South would be handed to a U.S.-backed regime we never chose.
They called it a "compromise."
They called it a "solution."
They said we should accept it, and there’ll be peace.
That half a country is better than none.
That resistance would only bring needless suffering.
But we refused.
Because Vietnam is not a bargaining chip.
We are not a parcel to be divided by strangers and called free.
And when we resisted, they called us unreasonable.
They called us terrorists.
They said we were the problem.
Sound familiar?
What you just said about Palestinians—that they should have accepted UN Resolution 181 and been grateful for half a homeland—is exactly what they told us.
And we proved them wrong.
We fought not because we hated peace.
We fought because real peace cannot come from foreign dictates, settler violence, and forced partitions.
We fought because no people should be told to accept half their dignity so someone else can sleep at night.
We fought because Vietnam is one.
Not north, not south, but whole.
And we won.
Now you expect Palestinians to do what we never would.
To accept their homeland divided.
Their history rewritten.
Their future stolen.
To say yes to a plan they never agreed to.
Written by people who did not live there.
Giving away land that was never theirs to offer.
You call that a missed opportunity.
We call it resistance to dismemberment.
Palestinians said no because they knew what we knew:
To accept a settler’s map is to erase your own.
So don’t talk to me about Resolution 181.
Talk to me about the villages wiped off the map.
Talk to me about the mass graves and refugee camps that followed.
Talk to me about the families still holding the keys to homes they are forbidden to return to.
Vietnam refused partition. And today we are whole.
Palestine did the same. And for that, they are still being punished.
But they were right to refuse.
Just like we were.
Just like the Algerians were.
Just like the South Africans were.
And one day, like us, they will reclaim everything that was stolen.
Because memory is stronger than force.
And the land never forgets who it belongs to.
@HakiKNCHR Kenya's Interior minister Kipchumba Murkomen @kipmurkomen gave police carte blanche to shoot and promised them protection from prosecution.
At the next protests, at least 31 people were killed.
BREAKING: 31 people were killed in Saba Saba protests in Kenya on Monday, @HakiKNCHR says.
That’s nearly 3 times more than police reported in their statement that praised officers for “restraint” despite widespread reports of brutality
Be wary of media houses that, come tomorrow, will be talking about the economic losses from today, and conveniently ignore all the money lost to corruption, misappropriation and dropped cases every day because of this govt
