توصیه مهم: از این کلمه «نسل کشی» یا genocide اینقدر مثل نقل و نبات استفاده نکنید.
جنساید تعریف داره و وقتی خارج از تعریفش استفاده بشه، بجای انتقال حس اضطرار و شدت و اهمیت، کل پیام رو لوث میکنه و حتی برعکس عمل میکنه: هر اکتیویست دوزاری و رسانه‌ای با یادآوری این که این کشتار دقیقا تعریف جنساید/نسل‌کشی نیست، میتونه اهمیت کل قضیه رو زیر سوال ببره. بعد حالا شما باید بیفتید دنبال این که ثابت کنید این جنساید هست، که نمیتونید، یا تغییر موضع بدید به این که «با این‌که جنساید نیست ولی مهمه» که هم باخت دادید هم موضع ضعیف‌تری هست، چون این کشتار حالا داره با یک چیز بدتر (جنساید) مقایسه میشه و کوچک به نظر میرسه.
سر قضیه غزه هم همین مسئله عیناً پیش اومد، رسانه‌ها (به اشتباه/دروغ) با کلمه «جنساید» میخواستن توجه بیشتری جلب کنن ولی هی بحث به حاشیه میرفت (از اهمیت کشتار به تعریف کلمات) و ضایع میشدن و درنهایت به ضرر خودشون تموم میشد.
کلمات معنی دارن خارج از تعریفش ازش استفاده نکنید.
