Back in Philly now after a week in White Sands National Park 🏜️ A million thanks to my advisor @dougsjunkdrawer for facilitating the geology field trip of a lifetime and showing us all how it’s done surfing the dunes 🏄♂️ Even found some beautiful vornoi patterns in the wild!
Another year, another planetary fracture analysis 🪐 Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by my #AGU22 poster yesterday and for all the insightful comments and suggestions!
Big thanks to everyone at the @prf2022 for an excellent conference experience. So lucky to be able to share my work with so many passionate and talented scientists!
Not trying to stir the pot but... Is there a reason why fracture has not been seriously considered as the formative mechanism for polygons on Pluto? I know convection makes patterns like this too, but it demands a more complicated story. @_sosilver_@ThePlanetaryGuy ?
Curious about what the geometry of crack patterns can tell us about formation processes, even in deep space? 🪐 Check out my #PennGradTalks presentation!
Big thanks to @SASGov and @PennSAS for providing this great platform for celebrating the exciting work happening at Penn!
#PennGradTalks is back! We’ll be releasing one category/day throughout the week. Today is Natural Sciences, the third of four installments. Vote for your favorite talk + see a complete schedule ▶️ https://t.co/wvWqv4K4xJ @Penn@SASGov
