Mohd Chan Abdullah, founder of the popular halal Chinese restaurant chain Restoran Mohd Chan, has been laid to rest today at Bukit Kiara 2.

He passed away last night at the age of 72.

Known for serving halal Cantonese cuisine and operating 18 branches mainly in the Klang Valley, he also served as an Honorary Officer of the Federal Territories Civil Defence Force.
