5 is the minimum. Maybe three books in the study, two books and a kindle in the bedroom. One in a bag ready to go. Then you buy another book while you're out anyway.

You can never have just one book going because you never live with just one mood

Meet Jim Ekman.

He’s 89 years young and wakes up at 3 a.m. to help the agronomy team at the @3MOpen.

Jim will voluntarily work 40 hours this week and his duties include trimming grass, tidying up yardage markers, cleaning up trash, taking care of the bathrooms around the course and is always looking to do more.

The course superintendent Joe Rolstad said, “Sometimes I have to ask him to leave because he loves to be here so much.”

Jim fell in love with golf in 1947 at age 12 when he'd spend 25 cents to tee it up with his friends at Como Park Golf Course in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Today he lives a block away from @TPCTwinCities, leaves his house around 4 a.m. and arrives at “4:02 a.m.” to work his seventh year here.

When Jim is done with his morning duties, he heads back home as a full-time caregiver to his wife, Carol, who he’s been married to for 69 years. They enjoy watching golf together and Jim will share with Carol places he worked on the course throughout the week.

He comes back to the course for more work from the afternoon into the evening.

Jim plays 9 holes of golf every Monday night in a group league and is the oldest in the league by 25 years. His career-low round is 69.

Rolstad said, “On days when he’s not here, we miss him.”

Click "In-Depth" on the Matchup page to pull up detailed breakdowns of the game. Also, use the drop downs at the top of the page to sort by Time or Combined Rank and toggle between today and tomorrow's games. Lines already up for Thursday tips!

Will be doing dev work on golf for a bit, but send over any ideas/thoughts for hoops improvements and we'll get them prioritized.

My brother has been working hard on his betting/analytics platform, and they just added a new sport — college basketball. If you have any interest in finding the best odds or staying up to date with what comes next for the site, check out the page 👇🏻

One of the best stretches of college hoops all year is upon us. Tons of games means tons of lines, trying to make those easy to see here: https://t.co/Pl2Yt95jIY

Will be adding lots of enhancements to the page very soon. Also going live today around 3:30 @vincerix_hoops

We have a "toad delay" at the 13th hole.

This rare species can only be handled by one specialist, who in this case is Royal Liverpool's Links Manager James Bledge.
