@thekevingeary I think there are several things at play aside from the basic WP internal issues - higher air fares and gas prices, Phoenix in August, and historically, the general lack of interesting topics and speakers. To spend money solely to network with others - there are better events.

@itsdavemartin I do like the concept, but not the abandonment of Gutenberg. Content creation is its strength, not the builder part. That's why people use Bricks, Etch, etc., not for content creation.
