Most people are overcomplicating the idea that Bitcoin’s traditional four-year cycle can extend. It’s simple. If the business cycle extends, the crypto cycle extends. Bitcoin is a macro asset…
@FinAdviNY Yes pension (SIPP) in MSTR
Only other equity investment is MTPLF - very good investment thesis IMO. @dylanleclair one reason, ambitious / simplistic business plan - synergistic to MTSR, uniquely position in Japan to provide advantage to institutional BTC exposure.Yen = tailwind
I think the point you miss, tariffs might have worked in the early 1900s… but the world has moved on, globalisation has moved supply chains into value markets, where goods are produced at the lowest possible price and the consumer pays the lowest possible price. It’s completely wishful to think those supply chains can be replicated in the US. 🤯
“holding debt as an asset that provides interest is typically rewarding early in the long-term debt cycle when there isn’t a lot of debt outstanding, but holding debt late in the cycle, when there is too much debt and too much money being printed to service it, is often a sure path to losing money in real terms.”

@FitFounder Good tip on the salt, I've just discovered gaba tea - I drink it before bed alongside glycine, and its good. The waking for pee is hot or miss, so will try the salt. Look up the gaba tea.
Looking back at the last bull cycle (2020–2021), Bitcoin corrected 7 times:
- 17%
- 17%
- 32%
- 26%
- 28%
- 51%
- 25%
Every single one of those drops had people losing their minds, convinced Bitcoin was finished.
Blimey, are you having me on? The United States has just gone and voted alongside Russia, North Korea, Belarus, and Sudan—against our European democratic mates at the United Nations, no less! Trump’s flat-out refused to admit Russia invaded Ukraine or call for them to sod off from a sovereign nation!
@SOJ_STEVE@robprogressive Fair point, and I was considering some actual examples where employer(s) are multi-national, and responsibilities broader than UK. All positions have left UK. Not quite black and white.
