Only caveat is that your git worktrees have to live on the same partition as the original repo.

That role is already fulfilled by whatsapp/imessage groups. They can simply outrun any builder.

Also this has been tried multiple times before. One was Path and there was another (I'm forgetting the name) where you built your own social network (your own UI/themes/features) and then invited friends.
