The AI frontier jumps forward by yet another generation of hardware. Acceleration continues.
ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

Massive respect to Rahul Goel, who is spending his own money to try and give Canada a rocket that can reach orbit. He's not a billionaire space guy. He's a very humble, level-headed dude who grew up in an immigrant family in Canada and is risking it all.
@kyliebytes went to Canada to do some wonderful reporting on Rahul and the country's space ambitions https://t.co/tAxhzEGDQm
my weirdest conspiracy theory is that the global ethanol push is far more coordinated than people realize.
the US is pushing e15. brazil has been aggressively expanding e27. india has already committed to e20 & is talking about going higher. much of southeast asia is moving toward e20. many latin american countries are already at e30. even europe continues to expand ethanol blending mandates.
somehow countries with completely different politics, economies and energy priorities all arrived at the same conclusion which was to push for a fuel that's anti-vehicle, kills the engines of your cars and eats away its rubbers.
on one hand this looks like a global movement being driven by big biofuel, which ironically also has every leading oil name invested in it. on the other it also looks like a movement to take away your autonomy
Introducing NEO’s 25 Degrees of Freedom, tendon-driven hands — nearing or surpassing human-level dexterity, strength, speed, and reliability.
For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.
Just reverse engineered my Oura Ring 5 so I can control my computer like a wizzard. @ouraring please send my love to whoever buried a feature to stream live accelerometer data
I built this portable 3d printer. it folds flat, and a scissor lift lets it expand to print big objects. It's CoreXY, uses fishing line for the motion system, has a direct drive extruder, and the option of storing an 8-hour print time battery or an entire filament spool inside
