Torn between wanting a Mikasa and wanting to be a Mikasa - the latter would be a sure way to save myself in a multiverse with my 1000 personalities, the former, however, is too big of a role to place in someone’s hand. phew, decision decision 😅
lastly, I personally feel people need to be way more intentional about the general idea of streaks. If done correctly, it’s a great way to keep up with your loved ones in this present and highly demanding world. 👍🏼
secondly, there’s a lack of a sense of community in this generation, and that’s why people don’t check in when something “unusual” is streaked. nobody really send anybody like that.
firstly, I feel like people don’t really understand the essence of keeping streaks, and that’s exactly why I’m particular about the people I keep streaks with.
I think one of the most heartfelt experiences in life is discovering that someone genuinely enjoys your presence. Not what you provide, Not your accomplishments. Just you, your thoughts, your energy, your existence.
I don’t think it’s fair to speak this way about people who put their lives in harm’s way for the safety of others.
We’ve become far too comfortable dehumanising people at the front lines because we think it's their job to do so.
Ghana is a place where hybrid work practice is best for corporate workers. Maybe 3 days remote and 2 days in person respectively. The rains, the distance, the cost of transportation, the renting of expensive accommodation just to be close to work; it’s eating into salaries a lot.
