I'd do this.

Stage 1: Python & C++ Foundations
Python for prototyping, C++ for deployment, memory management, pointers, compilation basics, cross-platform builds.

Stage 2: Model Optimization Techniques
Quantization (INT8, INT4, FP8), pruning, knowledge distillation, weight sharing, reducing model footprint without losing accuracy.

Stage 3: Inference Engines + Runtimes
ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, OpenVINO, TFLite, CoreML, optimizing graphs for specific hardware accelerators.

Stage 4: Mobile AI Deployment
iOS (CoreML, Swift), Android (TFLite, NNAPI), NPU integration, background processing, battery impact optimization.

Stage 5: Web AI + Browser Inference
WebLLM, WebGPU, Transformers.js, running models in-browser, privacy-first AI, zero-server-cost inference.

Stage 6: IoT + Embedded AI
NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Coral TPU, ESP32, TinyML, sensor fusion, real-time data processing on device.

Stage 7: Privacy-Preserving AI
Federated Learning, differential privacy, encrypted inference, local-first architecture, data sovereignty compliance.

Stage 8: Power + Performance Profiling
Latency measurement, memory profiling, energy consumption tracking, thermal throttling management, benchmarking suites.

Stage 9: Offline-First Architecture
Local vector DBs (SQLite-vec, LanceDB), caching strategies, sync protocols, conflict resolution, intermittent connectivity handling.

Stage 10: Edge MLOps + Updates
OTA model updates, versioning on device, A/B testing models at edge, rollback mechanisms, fleet management.

Stage 11: Open Source + Portfolio
Ship apps that run entirely on-device, write optimization case studies, contribute to ONNX/WebLLM, publish benchmark reports.

Stage 12: Apply
Edge AI Engineer, Mobile ML Engineer, Embedded AI Specialist, IoT AI Architect, On-Device Inference Engineer roles.

Most people stay stuck watching tutorials.

Builders get hired.

Things I learned:
• Prompt templates keep prompts reusable.
• .pipe() makes AI workflows easy to compose.
• Structured output is a game changer.
• AI apps are much more than just calling an LLM.

It takes a movie request, sends it through a LangChain pipeline, validates the AI response with Zod, and returns structured movie recommendations instead of messy text.

Worker pools are one of the most powerful concurrency patterns in Go

Instead of using unlimited goroutines (can crash your app), create a fixed number of workers that process jobs from a queue. 🚀
