Try this simple, meaty carnivore pizza recipe!
No carbs, just pure protein goodness. 🥩
Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef/chicken (crust)
1 egg
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella/parmesan (optional)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
Sugar-free pizza sauce (optional, check for no carbs)
Toppings: pepperoni, sausage, bacon
Salt, pepper, garlic powder

Steps:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix ground meat, egg, optional cheese, and seasonings. Spread into a 1/4-inch thick circle on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 10-15 min.
Add sauce (if using), cheese, and meat toppings.
Bake 8-10 min until cheese is bubbly.
Cool, slice, and dig in!

300,000 tons of tariff-free beef is incoming, and nobody will say where it's actually from (best guess is Argentina, not confirmed).

Since there's no name on the label, that means no one has to answer for how it was raised
or how fast.

Why does this matter? The timeline.

Ask any real producer what "cheap and fast" means:
•Hormones for speed growth
•Antibiotics for rushed, crowded conditions
•Corn-fed instead of pasture

Processed at scale, one pound of "ground beef" can come from a dozen+ cows blended together.
None of it traceable.

Not hypothetical.

A batch already hit US retail in TX and FL last month before completing safety reinspection, meaning it reached shelves without finishing the safety check. Not to mention: China rejected an Argentine shipment for a banned antibiotic, chloramphenicol, as recently as March 2026.

Under new 2026 USDA rules, "Product of USA" legally means born, raised, slaughtered, AND processed on American soil. This is the only label that guarantees those standards.

Buying American is also how you support American ranchers getting undercut by these imports.

Zooming out… this is the real state of beef in America right now:

•Untraceable imported meat from unknown conditions

•Lab-grown meat, already FDA-cleared, landing on shelves

•Domestic ranchers doing it right and getting squeezed from every direction

This is what a food system optimizing for cheap and fast over real and transparent looks like.

For the next 90 days, and beyond, find a local rancher and buy directly.

Vote with your dollars. That's how you actually know what's in your beef, and how you ensure the ranchers and butchers doing this right stay in business.

I can’t believe this is real

The FDA just accepted a petition to irradiate raw enriched wheat flour with up to 30 kilogray of ionizing radiation to kill off E. coli and Salmonella

“For context, 3 to 4 kilogray would be instantly lethal to humans — Apart from the immense radiation, it's worth mentioning what's already happening to your flour. Conventional milling strips the bran and germ entirely, removing most of the fiber, magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins.

A 2021 paper in the journal Nutrients links refined grain consumption to gut dysbiosis and systemic inflammation. To cut to the chase, what this means is the baseline product is already working against your microbiome. Now add in a high dose of ionizing radiation on top of that…”

“More research shows irradiation at any level can further degrade B vitamins. So just to be clear, here's what's happening. Conventional milling strips the natural B vitamins, which are then added back with synthetic versions. This new irradiation process would zap the enriched flour, which has the potential to degrade the added synthetic B vitamins. You can't make this up”

For context on the radiation measurements, the mentioned numbers above are off:

For radiation, whole-body acute exposure around 3–4 Gy (Gray) is often cited as potentially lethal

Food irradiation uses kGy (1 kGy = 1,000 Gy) and the energy is targeted at the food product, not a living organism’s whole body.

FDA has approved up to 30 kGy for dry spices, herbs, and seasonings for microbial control. Lower doses are used for other purposes like insect control in wheat and flour. They’ve even used higher for pathogens in meat and poultry

Irradiation does not make food radioactive but it does damage microbial DNA to kill and inactivate pathogens

The issue here is why do we need to do this. There has to be other ways than using something that damages DNA on our food

This is one of the most devastating betrayals we have ever seen from a hero brand.

Alec’s Ice Cream built its entire brand on being the world's first USDA Organic, Regenerative Certified, A2/A2 dairy ice cream.

But they quietly announced a shocking change: removing the USDA Organic label from its pints.

Not just that, but the dairy used in the pints is no longer organic or grass-finished, though it remains A2/A2.

The move came just six months after the brand closed an oversubscribed $11 million Series A funding round.

Most of its dairy used to be sourced from a key supplier: Alexandre Family Farm, which is "America's first Regenerative Organic Certified dairy.

Alec’s announced the change on their instagram: “As we've grown, we've run into a simple reality. There just isn't enough certified regenerative organic A2 dairy to meet demand”

Alexandre Family Farms challenged that justification: “It is indeed too bad…… and it’s certainly not a lack of supply issue.”

This comment makes it appear that Alec’s quietly shifted all or part of its sourcing away from Alexandre to cheaper, non‑organic A2 dairy.

Be Alec’s Ice Cream:
1. Build your entire product on being top notch quality
2. Capture market demand, fill product in thousands of retailers
3. Close an $11 million to “scale regenerative dairy supply chains”
4. Switch to dairy that’s no longer organic & grass‑fed
5. Frame it as “supply constraints” and “gut‑friendly innovation” while promising lower prices at checkout

If you are tired of being burnt by mission-driven brands trying to meet investor expectations, abandon this system altogether.

Buy from local farms, make your own ice cream: raw honey, dairy, egg yolks - that simple.

@olderpugilist Pork is also potentially higher in Histamines because the proteins break down way quicker, poor handling and processing also speeds this up. I recently decided to cut back too.
