I like to hope that one day my work on accessible built environments for Neurodiverse peeps will mean that buildings can be backup that supports the human to do a thing.... like a superhero sidekick that takes care of the side action so the hero can be a more effective badass.
@LaylaMcCay Note re: point 5
This is often seen with panneling on lower portion (either colour or dark wood) and with fairly dark or wooden floors
So my guess is that it would be a dark and moody vibe but probably work ok with the dark brown
Moody rooms really need mix of lighting (lamp?)
@LaylaMcCay Five suggestions:
1) Google image search bathroom with dark brown floor (to see what other have done)
2) find an image of an outfit / clothing with dark brown and beige and see what other colours are paired
3) find rocks that have those colours and other colours mixed in
@LaylaMcCay 4) use decor pieces to tie in / refference mix of colours (this can include lighting)
5) lower third of walls very dark green or blue, upper two thirds of walls a mostly lighter wallpaper that incorporates the green / blue and some browns and creams (landscape or mural style?)
@Specdraqular You can actually book an appointment with a gp to talk (community womens clinic may bulk bill)... can explain the situation regarding your gap in therapy access and potentially get some meds (may have samples you can ask for). Consider if possible PMDD re: timeframe of severity.
@Diane_Watt I buy more than one
And use them throughout the year
For the lead up to deadlines and other patches of time that need momentum assistance or a dependable tiny moment of not stress each day
