@renjun5ft4 This discourse surrounding aave becoming almost a closed practice is directly a result of it being used for profit by everyone but its speakers. There are many non black people who grow up speaking aave because they and their family speak it and no one bats an eye

@renjun5ft4 I’m not a linguist or scholar of english dialects. I just think it’s funny (as a person that speaks a pidgin) that you essentially claimed the US is so uniquely racist it is the only place that it’s black population adapted a dialect of english. Did you confirm that first?
