@JasonKelce It’s because the attacking player has the ball in front of him on his left foot and Balogun strikes him from behind on the trailing foot indicating there is no attempt to play the ball so he is considered reckless in his defense
@couchandtherube Followup on show. The guy from 247 that Sheehan interviewed seemed to think Bonke was a solid pickup and that the portal overall isn’t strong, including at center unlike last year
@Graham_Couch Yeah it could be a model but college sports will be like watching MLS vs. the Prem. Quality low compared to NBA so who is going to watch? The shared experience & tradition is why I watch. Disinterested in my alma maters football already. Bball too if transfers
@Graham_Couch@chrissolari Appreciate tht U captured taking our “foot off the pedal.” Definitely came through on TV. Hard to watch. I think if we are at similar level next year and can’t make that Frozen 4 run then may be right…NCAA tourney becomes a “thing.” Thanks for capturing essence of program & game
@GreggDSchroeder Loved watching these seniors play and Purdue. Painter a great coach and you guys win a ton. One of my favorite games to watch every year. - MSU fan. Go Green!
@daily_msu It’s the twittersphere. Izzo is a fantastic coach. Love what he’s done for the program and school. Greatest measure of his ability and ethics are the players and people who work for him. Go Green!
@RaphealDavis3 “Pay to play” is a real problem across youth sports in USA imo. Keep the pressure on Raphael. You & your colleagues will be key to helping carve out a pathway that works and is fair for young people. The way we win matters.
@heykayadams What are some of the best processes you’ve seen work well in college sports for smooth coaching succession that maintains winning culture?
