I know all of this can be extremely silly seeing it from the outside but it felt good to write it all out. I'm hoping if there is other people that has felt those feelings and want to become a better player, I want them to know that they're not alone. Keep pushing.

I've played in my first Grand Challenge this past weekend and I'm feeling like maybe competitive pokemon isn't for me.
I've been hooked for the past 5 months, playing almost everyday on showdown but this was the first time I played competitively VGC.

the outcome and not enjoying the game at a fundamental level. I wonder if other players feel the same and just keep pushing through it. I guess I'm also too attached to the mons and don't want them to feel bad for losing because of my misplays.
