I joined some friends to participate in the @vercel AI SDK hackathon organized by @midudev , just to catch up and have fun. In the end, we created a PoC of a plugin for @medusajs, an open-source e-commerce platform. It only has 3 or 4 features, just to explore the possibilities, but it’s incredible how, with so little effort, the bot can follow a conversation, guide the user, recognize if the clothes are for summer or winter… we even created a RAG on the fly with the store’s data.

And the power of Vercel’s AI SDK combined with React’s RSC and @OpenAI really allows for an incredible UX, and we’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible. Certainly, the possibilities are immense.
