This combination of nRF5340 (dual Cortex-M33) and nRF7002 is quite powerful and there is a plug-and-play experience with @EdgeImpulse. Now you can select Thingy:53 + nRF7002eb option directly in @EdgeImpulse deployment and collect data remotely! https://t.co/Jtyahrkdzx
Introducing #nRF7002 Expansion Board, a plug-in board for adding low-power #WiFi6 capabilities to #Thingy53!
It connects with a PCB edge connector to Thingy:53’s expansion slot and uses its #nRF5340 SoC as a host device for #nRF7002#WiFi Companion IC. https://t.co/rKfFZkexQB 👇
With our new @NVIDIAOmniverse extension, you can now use synthetic data generated in Omniverse Replicator to train your object detection model. https://t.co/E8zHBVmV3D
I'm so happy to announce that #NLnet decided to fund the development of an open hardware power profiler + battery simulation device I proposed, called JellyfishOPP. More info (and future updates) about the device available here: https://t.co/5PZ3CayYN4
"At the tiny edge, when you build products you are constrained by cost; you cannot go wild,” he said “There is a nominal price point, and it’s between 1 and 3 bucks… and part of the cost is captured by the non-volatile memory in the microcontroller.” https://t.co/TI4w23r7wy

We are excited to announce a significant leap forward for the edge AI ecosystem: @NVIDIA TAO Toolkit is now integrated into Edge Impulse! https://t.co/CQpz7m3QmS
.@beagleboardorg released BeagleV® Ahead, a new single board computer based on TH1520, a quad core 64-bit #RISCV SoC from T-Head. Learn more about this innovative board designed for AI applications, the IoT, and much more. https://t.co/H7z5MgI1Ey
@Jadon@MAYERMAKES@arturo182 Yea, the type-C has its drawbacks in terms of overall cost... My opinion regarding dev boards is that they need to be very user-centric. I assume not many people have that kind of cable at home, but on the other side, you can use standard micro USB which is good.
What an exciting year it’s been for edge AI, and we’re thrilled to come together at #Imagine2023 to talk about all of it! Join us on September 27th for a free, one-day virtual event to explore the latest innovations in this fast-growing field. Register: https://t.co/A8Wdy6IAr7

Almost all founders learn brutal lessons during the first year, but some learn them much more quickly. Obviously those founders are more likely to succeed. So it could be a useful heuristic to ask, say 6 to 12 months in, "Have we learned our brutal lesson yet?"
I've been super excited to see the momentum around on-device AI model porting from @ggerganov, @Nouamanetazi, @antimatter15, and tons of others.
Here are my top tips for newcomers after four years of building in this space!
