Thank goodness I used @PayPal for payment - I disputed the charge with them and they've already resolved it in my favor. Contrast that with @Instacart support, which told me 3-5 business days for a _response_ - meanwhile I'm out hardware AND money. Tough for a small business!
Lesson learned: don't use @Costco's "same day" delivery for anything that's an attractive target for unscrupulous Instacart shoppers. They'll forge your own signature and @Instacart will hang you out to dry!
@Instacart I ordered laptops from Costco today and my shopper decided to mark the delivery as completed without delivering, Instacart decided to skip the signature requirement, and Instacart support has been mind-bogglingly abysmal.
The charge remains on my card, and Instacart is a) unreachable, b) unable to understand the issue, and c) untruthful.
It LOOKS LIKE the shopper walked w/$3k of products and Instacart appears completely unable to handle this scenario.
Has anyone else run into anything like this?

7. After attempting to report the issue again via Costco's website, I'm told that I'll be contacted within 2 hours. 2 hours comes and goes, and there is no followup.

@rebelEducator Amanda Knox (@amandaknox) wrote an excellent piece about biases and the role they play in the narratives we construct in our heads. Well worth reading:
