Dental SOS: A support network for students and faculty facing harassment, abuse, or mistreatment within dental colleges. Together, we stand against injustice.
"We are students of MMDCH, Darbhanga, Bihar, and we wish to bring to your attention the actions of the college owner, Mr. Imbesat Shaukat, MD. He is known for his criminal-minded behavior and constantly threatens UG interns and PG students, claiming he will ruin our future
AIMSA strongly condemns the alleged act of violence by Mr. Ramesh Mhatre, Corporator, accused of assaulting a woman doctor and nursing staff at KDMC Hospital, Dombivli, Thane.
Violence against healthcare professionals is unacceptable. We urge the Maharashtra Government to take strict legal action against the accused and ensure the safety, dignity, and rights of doctors, female healthcare workers, and nurses.

540 hours. In a single month.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The RTI response from the Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS Nagpur shows Junior Residents being assigned 540 duty hours per month.
That’s 18 hours every single day, across an entire month.
How can anyone expect safe, error-free patient care from doctors pushed to this extent? Sleep deprivation isn’t dedication—it’s a patient safety risk and a human rights issue.
Healthcare cannot run on the exploitation of young doctors.
AIIMS Nagpur, Department of Pediatrics must explain how such duty hours are justified.

postgraduate trainees. There are also concerns regarding alleged harassment related to departmental tasks and responsibilities, which many students feel goes beyond reasonable academic expectations.
Students have raised serious concerns regarding the conduct of certain faculty members, including Dr. Srikumar G.P.V. and Dr. Geeta
environment within the department is highly stressful due to excessive work pressure and repeated non-academic demands placed on students
Triveni Institute of Dental Sciences, Hospital & Research Centre in Bilaspur. Students report that the institution is failing to provide the level of academic guidance and clinical training expected from a dental college.
results are influenced by personal bias, retaliation, or internal politics, that is not indiscipline
that is a grievance requiring investigation.
Power in education is meant to build professionals, not break careers.
Respect for authority comes from fairness.
Students invest years of effort + lakhs in fees.
Failing a whole batch demands:
Clear marking criteria
Proper internal assessment records
Transparent practical/clinical evaluation
Right to re-evaluation
Academic authority ≠ absolute power.
An entire batch of MDS being failed in Periodontology & Implantology at a dental college is not a “small academic issue.”
It’s a career-impacting decision that affects mental health, finances, and professional timelines
