@thehannahling We did the London ↔️ Stockholm return through Hamburg as a family & enjoyed it! Great to see that w/ Helsinki & Turku though, inspired to explore that! We used 4-day of travel in 1 month interrail passes to bring down costs but it's all about the journey https://t.co/eG6jX28ljN

Tomorrow we’re travelling from London ➡️ Sweden by rail to visit family for the Christmas break 🚄 The journey should take us approx. 27hrs on 5 trains with the @SJ_AB #euronight Hamburg-Stockholm sleeper train as one of the final legs. I’ll be tracking progress on this thread ⤵️

@alianoree Minority vote, but the moment from "O come to us" to "abide with us" with the descant, but also across the parts & organ is 👌🏿👌🏿 but "O Come all ye faithful" is a close second purely from the fact that it's one of the few that a tenor can sing

We saved over a fifth of carbon emissions in contrast to if we chose to fly from London to Stockholm & used public transport to reach Kristinehamn, we’ll be making the same journey back but starting in Stockholm instead.

We made it to Kristinehamn in the end just after 13:00. The total travel was approx 1day+5hrs. Overall was a great experience, many of the trains were spacious! The delays on most of the trains was a bit of an issue but we were able to improvise due to our Interrail tickets.
