@xiaoxinrou @squicklesse Mexican culture is alive and well in the US but those looking from the outside in will demean it, assuming what I mentioned in my original post. The intention was to remind myself of this, not to make the argument that it works that way.

@xiaoxinrou @squicklesse I mean that there's a clear difference between living in a diaspora vs living in the region that originates the culture and people will bank on this to assume that one stands over the other. The argument that they are not ''Mexican", is therefore never ending.
