UPDATE: travellers have moved on to Cheam Rec (the gate apparently open despite warnings from Cllr @ElliotColburn) and it’s been quickly reported.

But the question remains how @SuttonCouncil allowed this to happen after so many warnings from similar incursions onto other parks?

I mirror @colingroome tweet about abandoned van on London Road @NorthCheam. Been there a while and when bus stops at busstop it causes an obstruction so large vehicles can’t overtake bus. What’s happening @MPSSutton @SuttonCouncil @TfL
