In 1290 all Jews were driven out of England. In 1306 they were expelled from France. In 1430 exiled from Germany, followed by Spain and Portugal. Boycotted in Italy, and time after time tossed out of every major European city.
After the centuries of expulsions, in 1492, Muslims (The Ottoman Empire) opened their doors for the Jewish. in the late 17th and 18th centuries, as the Ottoman Empire became less stable, Jews were finally allowed back into England after 366 years of total banishment.
After 1848, hundreds of thousands of Jews left Central Europe to escape rising nationalism and "pogroms" (anti-Jewish riots).
After WWI, Britain took control of Palestine from the Ottomans. From 1917 to 1939, Muslims (Palestine) opened their doors for the Jewish as usual.
In 2026, some Western politicians lecturing us (Muslims) on how to live peacefully with Jews!

In an interview with the Italian newspaper @repubblica, Gideon Levy argues that Israel has gained little strategically while suffering profound moral and political damage, and warns that the country is moving even further away from peace.
"I expected the Israeli government to use Hamas's crimes on October 7 as a pretext to unleash a devastating assault on Gaza. But I never imagined the response would become so cruel and barbaric. I also believed that, sooner or later, the United States would step in and stop it. That never happened."
"Israel has achieved nothing. Hamas is still alive and well. Militarily it has been weakened, but it can recover quickly, and politically it may even be stronger than before. More importantly, the world now sees Israel differently, including the United States and Jewish communities abroad. This is a turning point... there is a growing feeling that Israel may never recover its international standing. The crimes committed in Gaza provide powerful fuel for antisemites around the world...
"Israel has changed dramatically. Not primarily because of the war in Gaza, but because of October 7, which destroyed the last remnants of the peace camp. The Israeli left is finished. No major opposition force opposed the war..."
"The media bear enormous responsibility. They have helped brainwash the public and contributed to the emergence of a new Israel... An average citizen in [Italy] has probably seen more images from Gaza than the average Israeli...
"[T]he more we talk about October 7, the less we talk about Israel's crimes in Gaza... if we look at it from Hamas's political perspective, the attack halted Saudi recognition of Israel, and the Palestinian question returned to the center of global attention. People are discussing it all over the world... those were the political consequences. Hamas did not lose politically."
"Whoever succeeds Netanyahu... will support the same core policies: the occupation, the war in Gaza, and apartheid. None of the current candidates offers hope for a fundamental change. Civil society, meanwhile, effectively died after October 7. It mobilized for the hostages and against Netanyahu, but not against the war in Gaza."
@QudsNen Palestine is rooted in the soul of the Arab world - and increasingly in the conscience of people everywhere -as a universal cry for freedom. That is precisely why it frightens those who fear freedom. And why it is so often repressed wherever illiberal power prevails.
"Hicimos todo lo posible para que Hamás controlase Gaza y la AP Cisjordania, así se pelearían entre ellos, había que evitar la solución de 2 Estados, ahora tenemos que arrasar Gaza para solucionarlo". "Smotrich y Ben Gvir son terroristas".

Among the many powerful contributions by Jewish intellectuals to this Congress, Zack Foster's testimony may come as a shock.
Yet this is the moment to reflect on how European Jews were (un)seen and (mis)treated by those around them.
Because too many of us are still there.

Statement by Hamas:
——
"The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemns the statements issued by the so-called Board of Peace in the Gaza Strip, as well as those made by the US administration regarding the future of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), including the declaration that there is no place for the agency in the so-called 'New Gaza.' This position aligns with the Zionist occupation's policy of targeting the agency and undermining its role.
UNRWA represents an international witness to the Nakba of our Palestinian people and embodies the international community's responsibility toward Palestinian refugees. Its mandate is based on a resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, making any attempt to undermine or replace it an attack on international legitimacy and an effort to eliminate the refugee issue and erase one of the foremost international testimonies to the Nakba. Such attempts disregard the historical and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right of return.
We warn against responding to calls aimed at halting the agency's funding, reducing its mandate, or replacing it, and affirm that its continued humanitarian and relief work is an urgent necessity, particularly in light of the humanitarian catastrophe created by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.
We call on the United Nations, donor countries, and the international community to fulfill their responsibilities by ensuring the continuation of UNRWA's work and protecting its UN mandate until our Palestinian people attain their legitimate rights."
@MayadeenEnglish "the Israeli entity's survival depends on creating crises and tensions in the region."
This statement has become almost self‑evident to anyone who has studied the history of Zionism and the foundations on which Israel was established.
BREAKING! Israel massacres Gaza families in their sleep again.
Most victims are children, again.
Over 31 months Israel has:
KILLED 20K of them (UNICEF)
ORPHANED 39K (PCBS)
AMPUTATED 4K (UNICEF) among 7K left permanently disabled.
Diplomats & int'l media in Tel Aviv: how do you?
The UN has officially declared Gaza a genocide. And that Israel is deliberately targeting children and babies
Only took them 3 freaking years to get there
@AlexCrawfordSky The only sensible response to those who deny the evidence is to push them out of the debate. Asking why they do it is a waste of time: their purpose is obvious: to deny reality to cover up the moral rot of Zionism and the criminal drift of the society that ideology has produced.
Simply don’t understand those willing to deny the evidence of multiple doctors from a variety of different countries; independent investigators all with long and established careers, journalists, survivors and witnesses, a pile of visual evidence as well as their own eyes - and still attempt to discredit those who report this. - whether they’re survivors, medics, academics or journalists…
Imagine being told you’re a hatful bigot simply because you defend innocent human life from being starved, bombed, and murdered. These psychopath’s want to accuse you of exactly who and what they are; hateful, vile, evil, murderous, terrorists who steal, kill and destroy. They are the enemies of God and humanity.
