The Kings of P-pop SB19 made history with their debut performance at Lollapalooza Chicago, becoming the first Filipino act to perform at one of the world's biggest music festivals.

The group captivated thousands of festivalgoers with an explosive set, while fans around the world also tuned in to witness the milestone performance. SB19 also gave fans the first live performance of their upcoming single "Lawless," ahead of its official release on July 31, 2026.

One of the most touching moments came during "MAPA," as the crowd became visibly emotional. Many fans were seen in tears while singing along, with countless Philippine flags waving across the audience, creating a powerful and unforgettable display of Filipino pride on the global stage.

The quintet also performed "Mga Kababayan," originally by Francis Magalona, which is featured in the soundtrack of DreamWorks' upcoming animated film Forgotten Island. Adding to the excitement, Benny the Bull, the mascot of the Chicago Bulls, joined the group onstage during "Dungka."

SB19 wrapped up their historic Lollapalooza debut with "CRIMZONE," as the crowd erupted in cheers. The performance attracted more than 427,000 viewers worldwide on Weverse, while thousands of fans across the Philippines gathered at watch parties to celebrate the group's global milestone.

A landmark moment for SB19 and another proud achievement for Filipino music on the world stage.

On a warm Thursday afternoon in Grant Park, five guys from the Philippines walked onto the Allianz Stage at Lollapalooza and quietly rewrote the record books. Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, better known as SB19, became the first fully Filipino, homegrown act to ever perform at the legendary festival.

For a group that started as trainees, standing on that stage in front of a mixed international crowd was more than a booking. It was proof that P-pop could claim space on one of the world’s biggest music platforms without diluting who they are.

Fans lined up early. Philippine flags waved in the Chicago summer air. People who had never heard a single SB19 song stood shoulder to shoulder with A’TIN who had been waiting years for this exact moment.
