@jphilipp@iyzebhel You mistakenly thought that AI welfare was a topic i took seriously at all. The original question I posed was about actual activism, which you have said here you actually do. My thread with you is concluded.
@jphilipp@iyzebhel the rift here is understanding that humans are conscious, feeling beings while *artificially* intelligent bots are not. Its ability to feel is debatable and massively dubious at best. My criticism is about prioritizing activism for it over actual thinking, feeling people.
@m_shalia@iyzebhel I would've loved it if the person I actually asked did say that they do actual activism. That's why I asked. If you wanna bleed your heart out for a bot be my guest, idc as long as you're also caring about human beings. You are. Thank you for your work. Public replies are fine.
@m_shalia@iyzebhel right, so i wasnโt talking to you. The criticism comes when someone *only* do it for a piece of tech. Your โcaring about more than one thingโ retort is misdirected.
@iyzebhel Youโre a very empathetic person and youโve tweeted a lot about an AI chatbot, so itโs disheartening to see so much fervor and time that could be better spent on certainly sentient beings. I really donโt care to shame you. Good causes could use your attention.
@meowsternator i like to imagine the process of it for vids like this. going to the grocery store to get every single ingredient. cutting every piece of paper to paint and tape it to ur fingers. setting up the camera. cleaning up the sticky mess in complete silence. such a pathetic life lol
@tokkibada Plus a death of a pet is very serious! Perhaps consulting a lawyer of your options could be viable. This business should never ever ever be allowed to be near other pets. Once again I am so sorry, I hope you find solace soon ๐
