@SleeperSaints Brees at 33 all time for every position isn’t that crazy, most of the QB names in front of him are nuts though. Ed Reed is ranked 40 on here, there aren’t 40 players better than Ed, Deion Sanders ranked way too low. Calvin Johnson, Troy too low. Weird list
@T_Gardner23@JrTabansi take that I see way too often. bulls team was established, still a good roster. When Bron left those teams they were entirely different. This was the Cavs after LeBron left. Kevin Love played in 22 games. Clarkson, rookie Sexton, Cedi as primary offense… yea no shit they sucked
@Blof1sh@Ballislife@TidalLeague Only lottery pick ever to be a sub 40% shooter at the basket, he’s a bad 5v5 player in general. Inefficient shooter and offers little else. He just isn’t that good. Some equate good player to a guy who can play in 1v1 but the NBA isn’t 1v1.
@NationwideP97@ProPelsTalk I’ve been a fan of the team for as long as they’ve existed. They’ve won 2 playoff series. They are objectively a bottom 3-5 org in basketball. I used to have blind optimism, too.
@94AndreRBryant@fellowhumanbeen@CW_ESQ@D_West30 it loses the math game. A 35% 3P shooter is the same points per possession as someone shooting 52.5% from 2P. Middies are the least efficient shot.
Two things are true; at basket/3P is optimal, this has made the game kinda boring and players less creative
@McdonaldLa83347@PlayoffDude They don’t need another player who needs the ball, they don’t need a high vol/usg player. He is nowhere close to a top tier defender. He is more of a SF/SG than a SF/PF. He can hit 3s but it’s not his game. Terrible fit next to Luka if you actually view the sport beyond stats
@TheLuchaJoe@nathanTbernard@SheaSerrano the legacy impact of that shot was as big as Kyries imo. Would’ve put LeBron at 1-3 in the finals if that didn’t go in
@TXForever49@PF3Machine@SheaSerrano Kawhis was like something out of a movie. I’d say OGs also, capped off the biggest comeback.
Kyries is an iconic shot but there was almost a full minute of game left.
Dames was cool but a tier below the others
@SyGuyTheGuy@PF3Machine@SheaSerrano but it wasn’t a dagger. It was a shot to up 3 with almost a full minute left. At minimum Warriors were going to have 2 more possessions. Big shot for sure but didn’t seal the game. They still had to play defense.
@Darren0054@hugeballer_ Anthony Davis is a multi x 1st team all nba guy, multi 1st team defense. (Brunson has never been 1st team/certainly will never be all def.) Championship in college and NBA, Olympic gold, 10x AS
I like Brunson but their resumes are nowhere close.
@Sidestepluka@XTORSiONS@brussellburner@hugeballer_ Mikal and OG are the exact type of wings you’d want to put around Luka.
There aren’t many of those in the league. Would be crazy to think if Luka were on this Knicks team in place of Brunson it wouldn’t be the same result. he’s proven to be a playoff riser also
@RJ1525@Welivebaby1@DragonflyJonez If you include passing I don’t think that’s a wild take at all. Can score from all 3 levels and one of the best passers all time.
@thegreat7443@ShamsCharania and fwiw I think the Spurs are arguably the best ran franchise in the NBA. Castle is already fringe AS caliber, much better and more versatile than Reed, but Reed would also likely develop better on the Spurs than on the Rockets.
Spurs did have luck to get their 3 core guys
@thegreat7443@ShamsCharania Who said he was trash?
He and Harper especially were both thought to be great prospects. They both were top 4 picks where the hit rate is substantially higher (huge drop off after top 5) they weren’t some brilliant GM decision where they found a gem outside the top 10.
@saintspelican23@mfjones69_@FearTheBrown it’s just a bad franchise lol. 2x ever making it out the 1st round. 1 of 2 teams to never make a conference finals.
And I think we have a basketball smart fanbase relative to most of the NBA. You have to be a psycho to watch this team regularly and we do. We deserve better
@saintspelican23@mfjones69_@FearTheBrown They had a 49-33 season after AD. The best record they had with AD was 48-34.
2 playoff appearances with AD, 2 playoff appearances since he left.
