@PutinIsAVirus@skdh Not 14th century but 19th with mine but it is doable. My unit is on the attic with hot air exhausting through the chimney. Yes this is a bit more pricey and requires ducting, but not by much. You can retrofit any old building if you hide your cooling unit.
@skdh installer can install ACs in France or Germany but cant charge for this legally. He has to either register a local LLC and apply for license(takes forever) or get hired locally and get paid f*ck all. So one cant quickly hire from outside the country when urgently needed.
@skdh I suspect OP does not know the minutia. It maybe a architecturally significant building protected by the land or city. That being said- being an AC installer in the EU is not easy either. Your F gas license is valid across the EU but not your business license. So a romanian ->
