Chief Kral reiterates his stance on the death of George Floyd & addresses community concerns. Next week, a meeting is planned with protest leaders, Chief Kral, Mayor Kapszukiewicz, & other community representatives to hold discussions on important changes for the City of Toledo.
@brittybleezy I want you to know I’m not mad or trying to argue. If I’m wrong I truly do want to understand. I know there are some bad cops and there are some bad protesters. I was only commenting on how I don’t understand how looting stores helps the cause. That’s all.
@brittybleezy I just don’t see how destroying buildings helps the cause. It takes the main focus (innocent black Americans being killed) and splits it between that and people destroying cities. At a time like this I would prefer ALL of the focus being on the first of the two.
@brittybleezy I don’t care about skin color. Black, white, red, purple. The color of your skin does not change the way I see you. I see everyone as equal regardless of how society portrays it.
I never once said I was more upset about the looting than the death of Americans.
Does anyone else see these “I can’t stay at home. I’m a nurse/doctor/essential personnel” and immediately get aggravated at how big these peoples heads are?
5. Please don’t ask your nurse if they’ve taken care of someone with “that virus” and then freak out when they tell you they have. Every hospital has had it in every room.
A few things I want to share since being a charge nurse:
1. People call the ER and want diagnoses for ANYTHING over the phone. Please don’t be that person.
2. We don’t allow visitors right now. If you turned on the news I’d like to think you would understand why but you wouldn’t.
3. “Mam. I can’t give medical advice over the phone. You can call 911 if you think your husbands shortness of breath is concerning. We would be happy to see him”
4. “As I’ve said 5 times sir, I can’t diagnose you with corona virus over the phone”
