As the year draws to a close, we extend our warmest wishes for a joyful holiday season and a prosperous new year. If you are considering making a year-end donation, we kindly ask you to keep us in mind. The Retired Police Canine Foundation (RPCF) is a 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization dedicated to supporting our retired partners. Here are some of the ways we are making a difference:

1.) We actively recruit and collaborate with veterinarians, dog food suppliers, and other service providers to secure free or discounted services for military and law enforcement officers who have adopted retired dogs.

2.) We provide financial assistance for the medical care of retired military and law enforcement dogs, ensuring they receive the necessary treatment and support they deserve.

3.) We negotiate with landlords to allow handlers and their retired dogs to continue residing in their rental homes or apartments, recognizing the invaluable bond between these dedicated partners.

4.) We advocate for retired military and law enforcement dogs to have the same rights as service dogs, enabling them to live anywhere with their owners and accompany them into all public places.

5.) We strive to raise awareness about the remarkable effectiveness of these dogs in safeguarding our country from terrorists and our communities from crime.
