@tricyclemag This might be one way of practicing with body image. This is not the only way for buddhists to do it. Some of the recommendations in this article are contraindicated in the ngakpa vows in the himalayan traditions. As a trans person I didn't find these recommendations helpful.

Metabolizing sorrow is suppose to be uncomfortable. We are intentionally experiencing the discomfort. We are feeding the sorrow space so it has room to be in our experience. I must choose this discomfort in order to have the agency to be with the discomfort.
