PlayStation is stopping selling first-party titles on PC and then telling us that disc production will stop from 2028. Coincidence? I think not.

Being a collector, this still stings. It's not about being against digital games (as they've been a thing for ages), but it's about being against the lack of choice for consumers.

Preservation is another thing that should be celebrated, not looked down upon by the likes of Sony. Movies still come out on discs (even though sales are lower now than they have ever been) and the likes of vinyl are extremely popular, so why can't we do the same with games moving forward?

We all know why. Shareholders and the bottom line. What a bleak future we gamers are aiming towards.
